A Saudi Company is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MySQL, Node.js, and PHP CodeIgniter, with a strong focus on backend development tasks. As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our application servers hosted on AWS. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating APIs using Node.js with Express.js and integrating various third-party services into our system.

• 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔:

- Develop and maintain backend components of our applications using MySQL, Node.js, and PHP CodeIgniter.

- Host and manage application servers on AWS infrastructure.

- Create and maintain APIs using Node.js with Express.js for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.

- Integrate third-party services such as Hyperpay payment gateway, TalkJS for live chats, Tamara for payment instalments, Unifonic for SMS, and various analytics tools including Datadog, Adjust, Google Analytics, Firebase, Instabug, and MoEngage.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and testing teams to ensure smooth integration and functionality of backend systems.

- Maintain high code quality standards and ensure best practices are followed.

- Keep track of source code versions using GitHub for efficient code management and collaboration.

- Observe the development team's performance and actively participate in optimizing workflow efficiency.

• 𝑱𝒐𝒃 𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a focus on MySQL, Node.js, and PHP CodeIgniter.

- Strong proficiency in database management and optimization using MySQL.

- Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Node.js and PHP CodeIgniter.

- Experience with hosting and managing application servers on AWS.

- Solid understanding of API development using Node.js with Express.js.

- Familiarity with integrating third-party services and APIs into web applications.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative cross-functional team.

- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Leadership skills are a plus.
