Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a software development role for middle and at least 5 years for senior.
  • Proficiency in PHP web frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.


Role Responsibilities:


As a Mid-Level Backend Developer, you will:

  • Analyse website and application requirements.
  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
  • Solve complex performance issues and address architectural challenges.
  • Troubleshoot application and code issues.
  • Ensure integration of data storage solutions, which may include databases and key-value stores.
  • Finalize back-end features and test web applications.
  • Update and enhance application features, including maintaining legacy code.
  • Track and manage requests, issues, work progress, and other changes.


About the Role:


In this role, you will focus on the maintenance, scaling, and modernization of our in-house projects. Balancing the demand for new features and market expansion with the maintenance of legacy code is crucial.
