Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Senior Backend Engineer at ASA Technology. The role is located in Cairo, Egypt, with some work from home flexibility. The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for back-end development and system architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years in Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience in ride-hailing or logistics systems.
• Familiarity with features like geolocation, route optimization, dynamic pricing, and fleet management.
• Proficient in RESTful API design and development.
• Experience in cloud platforms
• Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
• Experience in designing and implementing complex software systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment or individually
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of AI/ML for route optimization or predictive analytics.
• Understanding of telematics or IoT device integration.
