etmana is seeking a talented and motivated Backend Laravel Team Lead to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you will be pivotal in guiding and mentoring our development team to deliver high-quality tech products on time and within budget. You'll not only be a technical expert but also a bridge between development and business, ensuring all our projects are aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain a high code quality standard.
• Architect and design complex Laravel applications with scalability and maintainability in mind.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Laravel ecosystem.
• Identify and implement technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Project Management & Delivery:
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Break down projects into manageable tasks, estimate timelines, and assign resources effectively.
• Manage project risks and dependencies, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively implement solutions.
• Business Acumen & Collaboration:
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in understanding the business side of things, not just the technical aspects.
• Participate in discussions with stakeholders, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Advocate for best practices that balance technical feasibility with business goals.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales) to ensure a seamless product development process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Laravel framework.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams.
• Demonstrated experience with e-commerce development and best practices.
• Saas & CMS experience is big advanced.
• A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value.
• (Bonus) Experience with DevOps principles and tools, ideally including Microsoft Azure.
