Role purpose:
- Reporting to the IMS Services Design and Development (EW) Manager, the Senior SW Tech Lead is responsible for the design, in-house development and integration of the IMS services across the European OpCos
- Engaged in customer requirement analysis, SW architecture definition and code development coordination
- Develop a complete end-to-end solution for Enterprise and Consumer segments leveraging the in-house AS platform technology and applying a harmonized and cost-effective software development approach
- Drive the developer teams to use the most recent best practices and technologies. Follow the trends on the development area
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- To develop and coordinate developers in the in-house IMS Services development following Agile-Scrum/Kanban methodologies, in order to guarantee time to market and compliancy to user requirements
- Be part of the DevOps framework inside in-house services
- To grant services reliability through architecture design, security and capacity planning, according to traffic needs
- Use CI/CD practices to ensure the appropriate end-to-end process assuring automation, SW quality and smooth live integration

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Career degree
- Strong programming skills, knowledge in design patterns
- Strong knowledge with functional, imperative and object-oriented languages; knowledge of Java and JavaScript are a must
- Strong experience in Unix/Linux environments (shell scripting…)
- Strong knowledge in Cloud Native development software, Docker, Kubernetes, helm…
- Strong knowledge SW development, CI/CD and testing best practices (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus…)
- Knowledge on IMS network and service layer – SIP/ISC Protocol and VoLTE architecture
- Lead project across several areas
